  1. I got drenched on the way to work today, but it is so much
fun cycling in the wet in warm weather. :-)
(would not want to do it every day though).

On the way home it was bright enough at last not to need
my lights. I do like commuting both ways in daylight ;-)

    Martin.

I hate it when it is warm and wet. You have the choice of either getting
soaked from the rain or soaked from your own sweat.

Showers are fine - it is the steady moderate rain combined with high
    humidity that makes it unpleasant.

I got soaked on Thursday. Having been a bit busy this week, I hadn't
been out on the trike since Sunday and was starting to suffer withdrawal
symptoms, so I decided to go for a ride whatever the weather.

The worst thing about commuting in the wet is arriving at work dripping
wet. Before I retired I used to keep my folding bike at work so on wet
days I could get the bus to work and ride back. (I used to drive to
work one day a week, so I took it back then - taking it on the bus
would, however, have been a feasible alternative.)

Lightest weekend of the year - the nights start to close in next week. So
    you'll need your lights again!
