If a suit fits with no sags or bags but still has abit loose and comfortable fit will it last as long as one that is a size smaller?
The smaller size fits little uncomfortable but might it loosen up after a few weeks of swimming while the looser fit might be rendered too baggy after some weeks in the water?
This is for an Arena suit and seem to be exactly between sizes. Larger suit looks better proportionally while smaller size looks almost too skimpy on. But since I will be in water 99% of the time I suppose I should go with function as opposed to form.
Not to mention price as I'd hate to spend on prematurely bagging out a suit. Yet think I prefer the look and feel of a slightly larger suit but wonder how it will last?

I don't know the answer to your question, but if you interested in long lasting suits you should try a nylon or polyester suit like those worn for water polo. I buy mine online at truwest.com and they're a little over $20 after shipping, but they last forever. Well, for 2-3 years at least. They probably have marginally more drag than a spandex suit, but they're fine for practices and I don't really notice the difference.
