I thought Sugino only produced drivetrain parts. I had no idea they produced wheels.

SUGINO Tyrrano(sic) was a top- level carbon wheel for track & road cost about 1300AU trade in 1988.
They also made some 'tension' discs in the early 90's which were [censored].hd reynolds said:

There's one on sale and it's an alu disc (not tension). Altho it's painted in a local team color they say its a sugino (japan). I wanted to know more about it before I make a bid.

Mavic made an alu one many years ago , aslong as their are no hills or many turns the weight could be OK , look at the weighted wheel the last hour record holder used.
