Yes, some fruit are allowed on OWl - the second phase. IF you have gone
through the rungs of OWl which start with: vegtables, adding 5 g of carbs
with veggies first to your diet. Fruit comes a lot later. While it is
true, that fruit is allowe on OWL, you need to increase your carb
allowance by 5 grams a week until you don't lsoe any more, and fruit comes
rather late in the plan, so fruit is a nono on week 3, anyway. But since
youu are doings ome kind of low carb plan, not Atkins, obviously... this
is why so many people "fail" on a diet the actually don't stick to.
If you can afford fruit, you should be able to buy a thrift store copy of
DANDR - 2002 edition recommended. The atkins.com website does list some
advice, but not completely.
