I am finally getting serious about my training and will be doing workouts both indoors, on on Kurt Kinetic trainer, and outdoors pretty much year round. I will also be using a Powertap. I can only afford one of these things right now so I will be using 1 wheel for both indoors and out. I've been using Specialized Mondo Pro tires for several years and they are great outdoor tires, very pucture resistant and pretty light, but they aren't real good on the trainer . Up until now I've just switched wheels for indoor/outdoor. I'd like to find a tire that does well on the trainer and is decent outside for regular training. I will swap out tires for any races I do but I don't want to be doing that twice a week during training.
Any suggestions for one tire that works well both indoors and out?
