Hello everyone.
I'm a student at uni and I'm wanting a new bike. I have set a budget of £350. My uni is 2.5 miles away and I cover around 40 miles a week. In those 2.5miles are 16 or 17 odd traffic lights and I am a fast rider. I need a bike with fast acceleration and extremely good brakes. I brake extremely heavily and frequently and wear block brakes down in no time at all. After many near misses and hair raising incidents I have decided disc brakes are a must!
Any bike you recommend will probably never be in any of my shops so it must be either orderable online or something shops can order.
I saw this bike and it looked good, but the shop has stopped doing them now and I thought I should get some advice before I buy anything anyway.
