work of a few years ago. They found enzymes to stop the Type
1 diabetic destruction of beta cells in lab animals, and
were startled when the animals spontaneously developed new
beta cells and were no longer diabetic.But you *must* stop the auto-immune problem first for your
own beta cells to regenerate and have it do you any good.
And we Type 1 diabetics are perhaps 5% of the diabetics in
the world: it doesn't do a hell of a lot of good for the
Type 2's, who have insulin resistance. So it's good stuff,
don't get me wrong! But it's not a cure-all.
