So I plan on buying my first bike soon to do triathlons on and have done a LOT of research. I narrowed it down to 2.
2010 Trek 2.1 vs. 2010 Cannondale Caad9-5
Pretty much same components (105). I have ridden the Cannondale and really liked it but my girlfriend has a Trek 1.2 and I like that too. I have not ridden the 2.1
So in your opinion should I go with the Cannondale or the Trek? Also the Trek is about $150 cheaper in the end but thats not a big deal.

It's hard to know which way to go sometimes. I think the Cannondales are generally more comfortable bikes overall and on that basis I would vote for the Cannondale.
I don't really have a good argument for either one as far as performance.
Buy the one that fits best, rides best, and most excites you.
