In Nordhausen, Germany, 135 workers at Bike Systems GmbH have been
    occupying their factory.

    the workers are aiming to
produce nearly 2,000 of their own 'Strike bikes' in October.

price for individual orders: 275 € (incl. purchase tax and dispatch)

    could do worse

Looks quite interesting, shimano front dyno-hub and lits,
(I think) three speed rear hub, rack and mud guards, all
    for about 200ukp.

On the downside it looks like it might have some kind of
    coaster brake.

I could live with the coaster brake on a city bike and it does come in a
fetching shade of red - but where's the hammer & sickle badge on the
    head tube? Clearly shome mishtake...
