What is a good way to really relieve my muscles? I developed tendonitis in my right achilles tendon. I'm still very tense after doing the runner stretches and other stuff. What else can I do?

Try tensing the muscle for 10 seconds and then starting the stretch as the tension is released.
Vigorous massage can also help if done hard enough to break up any scar tissue (i.e. it has to hurt, but not so much you cry for your mommy). Using a rolling pin works pretty well to break up the clumped up feeling.

+1.
I've found that alternating from tensing 10 secs, then stretching 10 secs works really well. It's amazing how quickly this works for me... I usually do 3-4 reps... not sure how much it's going to help with tendonitis though, I'd go with mises's advice on massage for that.

The tensing thing seems harder than it sounds. I'm also trying to
roll over the back of the leg. I also rub tendon area in hopes of
stimulating blood flow.
