  1. What are some good stretches to help alleviate my knee pain? I foam roll regularly and do a couple hamstring stretches. Anything that will help? My PT told me to do squats and Bulgarian lunges, but this escalated the pain I was experiencing so I stopped.

  2. Roll your quads and look up quad stretches Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So your personal trainer is telling you that those exercises help to stretch out your knee? That doesn't sound right. Those are exercises, not stretches. Somethindoesn't sound right. If your knee hurts then you need to rest it and wait for any inflammation, if present to go down. After that casual stretching can be done. If knee problems persist then you need to do a rehabilitation program, with light exercises focusing on movement and flexibility.

Correct. If it is a fresh injury, stretching is actually counter productive and can you could potentially injury yourself more.

  5. Any real health and exercise professional would never tell you to work out an injured limb. So I question the authenticity of the question or you are asking the worng people to help you rehabilitate your knee.
