This is probably a terrible newbie question but hee we go. I have found a bike on ebay that is my size but has a straight bar setup (mountainbike) i would like to convert to the standard road bike setup with Sti shifters etc. is this worth it or should i not bother?

Anything is possible if you spend enough money. If you have to ask,you probably shouldn't.
