I took my first real ride on my new Strada today. I go it last week but the weather has been lousy
and have not had a chance to start riding it and getting it "dialed in"
I am impressed. On a 25 mile ride that I do after work during the week, I averaged 2mph more on the
Strada than I normally do on the Vrex. I am sure some of the increase is probably due to me
hammering a little harder to justify buying the Strada :-)
One thing that I was worried about was the high bottom bracket. It was no problem. it didn't feel
much different than the Vrex. Maybe uses the glutes a little more than the Vrex. I did go ahead and
lay the seat back a good bit to gain the best aero advantage that I could.
If you are thinking of getting a Strada, do it, you won't regret it. Tom
