Can`t remember a camera but think there is some weather monitoring kit
around their, the camera may be part of that. Its probably linked to
the local highways department so they can keep an eye on quite a high
bit of main road - tell when to send out the gritters, etc.

I was driving that way a couple of months back. Coming down the road
from Hirwen, I hit a massive wall of fog. Driving down into Brecon
and beyond I could barely see a few metres in front of my car, very
scary.
