the observation that the rubber treatment grately enhances pad and rim
life is an bikefull empirical observation over the time from the first
brake prep post with a set of ancient salmon rubber pads from a water
pipe schwinn of deliberately unknown vintage and a set of salvaged
dia-compe standards. also coming after i bought a supply of kool-stops.
pads and rims last longer with the goo than without the goo
the effectiveness of this stuff may alter pad design!
