Ask the juniors from his 2000 team that he coerced
into wearing illeagal helmets at the Nationals Time
Trial. All who wore them were disqualified (Diane
Fortini had told Toby at Fitchburg just a few weeks
earlier that the helmets were illegal and that anyone
who wore them would be disqualified). Those kids were
taught an important lesson by Toby: cheat whenever you
can, and complain loudly and blame others when you are
caught.

Ask the juniors from his 1995 (1996?) team that
competed in the Nationals in Texas when Robbie Dapice
ended up in a comma and received last rites from a
priest because Toby was too stupid and wrapped up in
his own glorification to recognize obvious signs of
distress in Robbie and get him medical attention
earlier. To say nothing of the other team members that
Toby completed neglected to give water to during the
road race, because his was so obsessed with his team
leader winning yet another National jersey for the
Stanton collection.

Ask the rest of the juniors who have been chewed up
and spit out by the Toby Stanton self-glorification
machine.

even if he used bad judgment on time trial helmets.......

people do make mistakes, and DeCanio was a member of the

1995 team when Robbie went to the hospital...."Nobody knew

Robbie was sick, until he passed out after the awards

ceremony. Toby spent all night beside Robbie in the

hospital until he had recovered."..........So Toby is in

our corner....signing off
