Yesterday had my bike (blue specialized hardrock 2003 model) stolen from my
house (leaning up against garage while I was inside getting ready to go to
work. This is the bike that the gear cable has snapped on 5 times in 2
years, total use - 5700 miles on it.
just got back from the bike store a month ago after spending $400 on it
getting new gears and cables.
Had a vistalight nightstick NMH battery on it only 2 months old
bugger
could of been worse though I was thinking of buying a $1200 bike a month ago
