    Anyone have any experience with the Sturmey Archer drum brakes? On my trike the left side is sticking like crazy, yet upon inspection I can not see what is going on compared to the right drum.

    I have checked cables, etc and there is no bind there... seems to only happen when at speed.

    While you say that you checked the cables, try reversing/reconnecting the left-for-the-right cables to see if the problem migrates to the RIGHT SIDE brake drum ... something could be actuating the linkage that isn't apparent from a visual inspection ... or, not.
