  1. Just wondering if anyone has ever mounted STI on aero base bars instead of bar-end shifters. While
bar-end would work better, is there any reason why I couldn't use STI? I only have one bike and was
thinking of converting it over to TT by getting a set of Visiontech (or other) bars and was hoping I
could utilize my STI shifters/levers.... understanding that shifting would be less convenient.

And also possibly very dangerous. Bull horn base bars don't allow enough lever pull room (is there a
proper word?) to safely use the brake levers. There is a chance you could "bottom out" at the wrong
time. Good Luck! David Never give up, Be satisfied w/ your best, Do unto others.....
