  1. Lucky me !!! I have finally found that the correct stem length for my set-up is 115 mm long - which isn't available for road bikes. I also need the bars to be lower than I can get them with a normal rise. I find that if I use the 115 mm x 20 degree stem from my mountain bike upside down, I have a perfect 'no weight on hands' position. Unfortunately the stem I have is an ugly polished aluminum one. Does anyone know where I might get a black one to the same dimensions? Performance Forte have 115 mm, but with only about 6 degrees of angle. Any and all help appreciated. Eric.

ITM makes an adjustable stem that comes in black. I have one that I ordered via the Internet from "Reparto Corse".

Why not just paint it black with a layer of clear coat? Cheapest/easiest option IMHO
