    I recently purchased a new Pinarello Opera frame which is manufactured using tig welded Dedacciai 16.5 tubes. My only other steel frame is an early 90's Pinarello Veneto which is a lugged frame that appears to be completely dipped in a rustproof primer. With a little TLC the old frame is still rust free and I would like to keep the new frame the same way for a dozen years or more. Should I consider a product such as JP Wiegle's frame saver, or is this frame already pre-treated? I bought the frame on e-bay, and my LBS is not a Pinarello dealer. Any advice on the care of this frame, would be appreciated. Thank you.

    just stick framesaver in it and make sure the BB shell has a drainhole.

    I had a quick look around the Pinarello web site for ya, and I couldn't see any info on rust prevention treatments
