HI,
I am starting to train and get ready to race and be a part of the cycling word. I am planing to start racing in the late 2014 season and am looking for some good tips for training and getting ready. I am also looking for help/suggestions on a good bike for road races.

why not start racing as soon as the season starts? you'll have no problem finding a suitable grade.
Something cheap - under $1000. Aluminum.
RIde as much as you can. Find a local group to ride with. Racers are best to ride with. Local bike shopd can help you find a group.
Buy health insurance.
Im looking into that possibility but i don't have a suitable racing bike.
What are your suggestions for a good race bike that is relatively cheap?
