have died out.... Stagg Chilli Eaters!
They do 3 different varieties, what's the difference? What's your
favourite?

As a chilll-hound I must confess that Stagg (brands var.), although poss the best on the go, are [still] lacking "chilliness".
Tesco's tonight had the Silverado, Classic and Vegetarian versions. I got one of each for taste testing purposes along with Tesco own brands of Chicken Tikka Masala and a Chilli con Carne. Hadn't realised but Tesco do a wide range of tinned dishes inc. Sweet and Sour Chicken/Pork and Beef in Black Bean. Looks I'll be trying each one out in preparation for the summer camping season.

Even the Dynamite variant? I like a good chilli but that one was far too hot for me.
Yeah 'fraid so, it was 'nice' (sic.) but still lacked a certain je na sais quoi... well, I do sais, but this ain't the right ng!! ;-) Its not so much the chilli'ness (although that oculd be boosted ;-) but overall blend of aromatic erbs and spices.

What do people tend to eat chilli with when out and about? Rice uses too much gas IMO. Does that Dolmio microwave pasta work if you just stir it into hot chilli?
Pasta works, but don't boil it just bring to boil, turn off gas and let stand. You could do the same with BITB rice. Couscous works as well. -- SteveO

Must be a bigger version of TESCO than our local - they didn't have any at all! -- Bill Grey http://www.billboy.co.uk
