Sronphadruig Lodge (Drumochter)

There's a lay-by 500m South of the road end on the same side of the
road. As fas as I am aware, the lodge is unoccupied.

The track is very suitable for biking and can be followed (with a rough
bit past Loch an Duine) straight through to Kingussie.

OK ..Just going on the track as far as Sronphadruig Lodge, alternative
approach to Carn a Caim and A' Bhuidheanach Beag, have done these two hills
from the A9 and was quite spoilt by the continuous noise of traffic, so
hopefully this will be a more peaceful approach!

Just had a look at that route - looks like a nice change from the
normal slog. Let us know how you get on.

I cycled the Gaick Pass in Nov 2003. Left the car on the Trinafour road
and cycled right through to Tromie Bridge then on to Kingussie and back
by the A9 cycle path, approx 50 miles. The only tricky bits are by the
first loch and crossing the stream that flows from that loch.
