  1. Wondering if anyone has a wired SRM working on the newer model Madones. Specifically, the Madones with the new BB90/BBOS/IntegratedBB (i.e. whatever you want to call it).

    I've contacted SRM USA and got the following response:

    Any of the SRM Wireless PowerMeters are compatible. You will need to use the pressed in BB bearings that are compatible with the crankset. I think they ship with Shimano Dura-Ace standard but also SRAM is possible. The older Wired SRMs are not compatible - the lid on the back of these PowerMeters will hit the frame. We also increased the internal diameter of the PowerMeter to clear the frame.

    I thought I had seen somewhere the wired SRM was being used on the new Madone.

    A new wired SRM is so ridiculously priced, I have to find a good used wired version that will work or - do without ::gasp::
