  1. Just curious if anyone has used an SRM for cyclocross?
I am thinking of putting mine on my cross bike for the upcoming season but am a bit hesitant. Not sure if it can handle the muck, water and abuse.

My other idea is to get a new powertap pro and build up a tubular wheel - which I think would be very likely to survive.

Adam Myerson has used an SRM for years on his 'cross bikes. This year may be a different story since he was using a Power Tap on the road and he might continue during 'cross season.

Many people have done this too. You might have some problems in particularity wet races with moisture ingress at the hub but maybe not. It is also usually pretty easy to dry out a hub too.
