  1. Wikipedia has a page. Google lists a ton of Sri Chinmoy pages, but
nearly all are directly associated with the man and not written by
    independent sources.

Here's one that was created by former disciples:

    http://www.chinmoycult.com/

Of course, I'm not one to believe everything I read. Chinmoy may be a
good guy, a bad guy or, more probable, something in between.
Regardless, it was interesting to check out the text there if only for
    some Sunday morning fiction.

And has anyone heard of powerlifting's Ernie Frantz? He had an opinion
on Chinmoy (scroll toward the bottom of the following URL).

Ernie Frantz has a lot more to say on the subject recently - like
Chinmoy should quit using him as a reference.

Keith, thanks for the verification. That's exactly the statement
attributed to Frantz toward the bottom of the URL I provided.

Here's another Chinmoy URL which provides guitarist Carlos Santana's
    perspective:

    http://www.rickross.com/reference/srichinmoy/srichinmoy18.html

Not sure if Santana has ever lifted, but according to text at that URL
his wife did ultramarathons when she and her hubby were closely
    associated with meditation guru Chinmoy.
