Finish is all-grey, grey/silver and all-silver, respectively. I've not
noticed any difference in performance or durability between the grey and
silver metals. The rivetting is the same on all three models. Only the
PC38 is weaker (re pin power force).

AIUI "weaker" doesn't really matter, as you could probably hang a ton
of weight off the "weakest" SRAM chain without it breaking...
