My audax bike has 11 or 12 to 34 8 speed cassette SRAM on shimano freehub with 42/52 veloce
chainwheels and 105 front mech and long mech acera rear.Changers are down tube shimano 7speed. In
spite of the above it all works fine ( with an extra push to go to bottom gear). The sram is lighter
and apparently nicer than the equivalent shimano. TerryJ
