I had a rather gentle lay-down of my Trail bike trying to cross a wet wooden bridge last week. It
was a right angle turn onto the bridge and I was coasting slowly.
However, now the front wheel squeaks twice per rotation when I first wheel it out of the back door,
but this soon stops. When I wheel it back in, it will start squeaking again.
Would this likely be brake pad misalignment due to the fall, or could it be the bearing inside the
wheel hub. Any ideas on how to tell the difference?
Thing is, it doesn't really bother me, usually squeaks about 4 to 6 times, then stops.
I'm worried it's the bearing and that 'heating 'em up' is making it stop. Don't want to have to
replace the front wheel eventually.
