  1. I've been to my favourite health food shop today and bough some spreads which I have now tasted, so
I can let you know what they were like. I'll also include one which I've enjoyed before, in case
someone is looking for a good spread, and lives in an area where these products are available.

Tuscany spread (I chose the one with olives, tomatoes and basil) by Poul Stuart: Not a cheesey
spread, but maybe a bit pate-like, if I have to describe it. Oh my Deity! That was really good. I'm
not good at describing flavours, and I've already described which flavour I picked, so I'll just
mention that it was good, with lots of flavour.

Ginger pate by Urtekram: Based on chickpeas made into a form of pate.

A bit dry, and not all that full of flavour. If I have some margarine under, and some veggies in the
sandwich too, it could be good anyway.

I also bought some margarine which apparently has a more healthy composition of fats than regular
margarine, but there's not much to say about it: It tasted like margarine, only with no salt.

Beneviva (I've forgotten the name of the spread, but they only make one kind). A cheesey kind of
spread. I picked the garlic flavoured one.

Nice, creamy consistency. Tastes pretty much like ordinary spread cheese, IMO.
