Just a coincidence that Virenque announces his retirement the day after he learns that they can and do now detect blood doping in cycling.
I was kind of expecting this kind of head up your ass comment. Virenque already announced last week - before the Hamilton case was known - that he was going to give a press conference about the state of his career next Friday and most of the people in the know were already hinting that the press conference would in fact announce his retirement.
