    It was more aimed at cyclingforums.com than you.

    What you think is a forum on cyclingforums.com is actually a Usenet
    group called uk.rec.cycling . Creating a poll on cyclingforums.com means
    extra chaff being added to your post exhorting us to visit
    cyclingforums.

    Searching for "usenet netiquette" will lead you to many useful pages
    describing Usenet and how to use it.
