  1. Will a spider designed for one of the Shimano ATB cranks that have detachable spiders also work with
FSA, Truvativ or Bontrager cranks with detachable spiders? The Shimano right-side cranks seem to
have four bits of flange (my vocabulary is failing me) around the base that mate with indentations
in the spider. Judging from web photos, the other cranks don't have these. Do they use a different
attachment method? The reason for my question is that I have a 110/74 spider that I'd like to use
    with an ISIS crank.
