Im very interested in a Specialized Tricross - namely for communiting to and from work, but before I lay down my hard earned $, thought I would see if anyone can offer an opinion on this bike.

Any info is greatly appreciated.
That should be good enough for commuting to work. But for anything else i'd probably look else where. Plenty of gears to choose from the triple, so should see you easily to your destination.
