  1. I currently have a 2004 Sequoia road bike. I would like to do some touring and want to go to a wider tire. I've been told I could go as wide as 700x35. The bike came with 700x26. The brake spec calls out my brakes as dual pivot, long reach.
I guess I'm asking if I can use 700x35 tirers and still install finders.

    thank you

  2. Had the bike shop install a set of Michelin 700x35 and found the rear tire to have very little clearance between the set stays. Removed and installed a set of 700x30 Michelins Jets. Plenty of clearance. The only problem and I do not see it; as a problem is to clear the brake pads the tire is partially inflated then fully inflate after installing the wheel.
