I don't know about that specific frame but the big S has had problems with their chainstays breaking
right behind the BB.

Keep an eye on the area, but keep on truckin' on!

My '96 M2 began to crack just behind the weld on the chainstay bridge - detailed photo here:

Never really saw a lot of others fail with that specific problem. Mine had a fair number of hours on
it. The M2's were pretty hardy characters, 'round these parts.
