Hello, I'm just getting into mountain biking. I'm crossing over from BMX cruiser racing, It just wasn't the same as when I raced when I was younger. I'm going to get a Specialized FSR XC and wanted to know if this is a good bike for jumping, I'll also be doing some downhill riding and some racing in the future. How does this bike hold up?

The FSR XC looks like a good solid all round bike but if you want to race you will want something lighter and if you want to do DH or jump then you will need something stronger.
Unfortuantely the days of having one hardtail for everything are long gone and you will be dissapointed if you buy the FSR and then try to do any serious DH on it.
I would recommend you think about what you really want to do and then buy a bike which is specific to your needs.

I have an Specialized FSR Extreme and my boyfriend has the FSR XC. We both do off roading and small jumps (we're just in the process of learning jumping etc). It seems like a great bike. Lots of bounce and movement. Very un-restricting if you were to ask me. I recommend both of these alot 😄

I agree it would be fine for jumps up to 3-4 feet but don't be expecting to flat land 6+ foot drops and have the bike survive.
Seriously, DH and freeride bikes are built beefy for a reason and XC race bikes are built feather light for a reason.
J_J if you give us a bit more info on what sort of stuff you are going to try and do then we might be able to recommend a good bike.
