  1. i just ordered one of those orange and grey freestyle tires from
    unicycle.com, and the description says that it is "rated to 110 psi."
    Should i buy a special heavy duty tube if i want to inflate it to that
    much pressure?

  4. For the most part, max and min pressures are determined by the tires and
    not tubes.

    And the rim.
    I wouldn't try pumping that tire up to 110 psi if you have a something
    like a Torker CX with a single walled steel rim. To go up to the higher
    psi you need a quality alloy (aluminum alloy) rim with good sidewalls
    and good tire bead hooks.

    Any standard tube that is sized for the tire will work just fine. The
    issue is whether your rim can handle it or not. If the rim is not up to
    it the rim could allow the tire to slip out of the bead hooks and
    literally blow off the rim with a very very loud BANG. Or the sidewalls
    of the rim could split due to the higher forces at the higher psi.
