  1. Just got some new spd cleats (and pedals, and shoes - all this flaming
    expense) but the fixing plate bolts are a tad short ....... the
    pedals/cleats not being related to the shoes .....

    Someone had mentioned the bolt size on a previous post but I cant find
    it !!!

    Was it M6 ?? and if so are the threads standard as well ...

    M5, I should think. Certainly those for Looks are M5 and from memory, the
    SPD holes in the shoes are the same size.

    Yes, M5 or to be pedantic, M5 x 0.8mm (there is a rare "M5 fine" which
    is M5 x 0.5mm)
