I reoved some spd-r cleats from one pair of shoes and
need to remount them on another pair, but do't have
any instructions. Does anyone know which way the
pieces get mounted?

The thicker part goes towards the rear. Make sure to
mount the protective rubber pad unit under the cleat,
towards the rear.--

...and don't forget to make sure that the rubber bumpers are
centered under the rear of the cleat. If they aren't,
everything's cockeyed.Mike
