I've stripped the threads on my SPD-R backing plate that sits inside the sole of my show (Northwave Evolution with the screw on carbon plates). Is this part specific to Northwave, or is it just the standard SPD-R backing plate used on other Shimano road shoes? I know that most of the SPD cleats come with the 4 hole square backing plate, so I'm wondering if the SPD-R 4 hole T-shaped backing plate is as easy to get ahold of. Any ideas are appreciated.
