What's the difference between SPD-R and SPD-SL?
If I have some SPD-R shoes, will SPD-SL cleats fit?
Shimano website was annoying useless, so I'd appreciate any advice.
Thanks

PhilOdepends on the shoes: SPD-R has two bolts in line, SPD-SL uses three in
the Look pattern. Some shoes are supplied with adapters

take any flavour of Shimano cleats (and Look cleats). Caveat: I've only
used them for SPD-R so I don't know if there are any peculiar
difficulties with other types.d.
