  1. Yes, it is a concern, but the amount is supplements is very low, and
    you can bite into one to see if it tastes fresh or rancid. The bigger
    problem is using these kinds of highly unsaturated oil for cooking, as
    well as what the supplements are. There are a lot of supplements that
    are not good for you. Many have anti-nutritional qualities. Fish/flax
    is asking for major free radical damage to your body. Trace amounts of
    things that many people eat a lot of is usually tolerable. However, I
    buy pure powder supplements, such as magnesium citrate, so that this is
    not a problem. I get most of my supplements through iherb.com
