  1. Hi all,
I live in Perth, Australia and the race program here consists of crits in the summer (october-april) and road races in the winter (april-june). I have been trying to revise my training program so that i can take advantage of both seasons as originally i was concentrating on road races but seeing as the season is so short i would like to incorporate crits as well.
As most training books are northern hemisphere based where crits and road races are summer activities i am finding it difficult to get any direction on my program. Current thinking is directing me towards starting my season off in july with my base work and then working into the build format from October. From here i am thinking of working towards two peaks, one around the end of the year (last dec-jan) and another around may-june.
