    It is subjective of course but the person that has made me laugh most
    in the recent past was Les Dawson. That was until I went to Halfords
    in Newport Road, Cardiff. Surely their prices have to be the best joke
    in recent British comedy? The one price that caused much merriment -
    not - was £3.22 for a pair of bicycle trouser clips. The young store
    person asked me if I wanted any help - I almost replied yes get me
    some smelling salts immediately!

    Les Dawson: I saw three blokes beating my Mother-in-Law up yesterday.

    Pal: God that's terrible! Did you Intervene?

    Les: No I thought three would be enough!
