  1. The Best Health Defense is Cellular Defense

Imagine your overall health if each and every individual
cell in your body is healthy and functioning properly. Every
cell in our body desires for itself, whether it's a cell of
the blood , bones organs, lymph or even the skin. Not
surprisingly Mother Nature has provided us with our very own
    cellular Antioxidant called "glutathione." Pronounced
"gloota thigh on" it behaves as each cells own personal
bodyguard, whose main responsibility is to protect the cell
it's in, from free radical damage. Free radical damage, or
oxidative stress is what occurs to our bodies (our cells)
when we are exposed to chemicals pesticides, car exhaust,
industrial air pollution, household cleansers, cigarette
smoke, nitrates and preservatives, computer & TV radiation,
viruses, bacteria, fungus and molds etc.

When our body has its health and the nourishment it needs,
it works tirelessly to eliminate toxins and protect itself.
In today's modern world the daily stress of being subjected
to environmental toxins can take its toll. With our sadly
polluted air, our chlorinated water and chemically processed
food, this is increasingly depleting our body's store of
glutathione more and more rapidly than ever before in our
human history. With low glutathione levels our body has very
little resistance to bacteria viruses and cancer. With low
glutathione levels our liver starts to function poorly,
allowing more and more toxins to accumulate through the
body, eventually resulting in fatigue and illness.

The Functions and Benefits of Glutathione

    (1) Fact: All other antioxidants such as vitamins C and E
depend upon the presence of glutathione to function
properly, and that is why scientists call it "the master
    antioxidant."

    (2) Fact: Elevated glutathione levels enable the body to
produce more white blood cells - the most important
front line defense of the immune system. Since the
limiting factor in the proper activity of our white
blood cells is the availability of glutathione, then
simply put, glutathione is essential food for the
immune system and is as important to our survival as
    air and water.

    (3) Fact: Glutathione will detoxify. There are at least 12
carcinogens (proven cancer causing substances) that have
been identified as being susceptible to attack from
glutathione. When glutathione does the job it bonds with
a toxin, leaves the cell and then personally escorts the
toxin out of the body through the bile or urine. This
cell is now without glutathione and is vulnerable to
attack until it can manufacture more. If it does not
have the required raw materials to do this, then lipid
per oxidation (hardening of the arteries) is
uncontrolled, other toxins can attack the cell,
radiation damage is not repaired and there is no
regulation of antioxidant activity or DNA replication
(seen as one of the leading causes of cancer.) It is
mostly here in the detoxification process, that we
slowly lose our stores of glutathione.

    (4) FACT: Science has proven that the diseases we attribute
with aging really have little to do with time, but are
directly related to the accumulation of free radical
damage in the cells of our body. This would explain why
some diseases we would normally see in the elderly are
showing up today in younger people. What is most
important however, is that the rate of free radical
damage can be changed, slowed down and even reversed.
Clinical evidence links low glutathione levels to the
most common illnesses of our time as well as newly
    emerging diseases.

Since glutathione is found in virtually every cell in the
body this explains why so many disease states are associated
with low glutathione levels. These include but are not
limited to : HEART DISEASE, STROKE, DIABETES, HIGH
CHOLESTEROL, ASTHMA, HEPATITIS, FIBROMYALGIA, AIDS, CROHN'S
DISEASE, CANCER, RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS, LUNG DISEASE, KIDNEY
DISEASE, CANDIDA INFECTION, CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME,
COLITIS, PEPTIC ULCERS, CATARACTS, EMPHYSEMA, PULMONARY
    FIBROSIS, ECZEMA, ALZHEIMER'S, PARKINSON'S, INFECTIONS
(VIRAL, BACTERIAL & FUNGAL) AND MORE.
