Jalabert wasn't a thread to Indurain taht year, but Jaja was 3rd
(after Once's Bastillie day brakeaway) and Riis was 4th - he had to chase
Jalabert down.

I remember that Riis was [censored] with Indurain for dragging Zuelle along
with him. Indurain wasen't chasing Jaja he was chasing Riis who finished
3rd dispite of clearly beeing the second best (or perhaps the best -
he matched Indurain in both TT) that year.
I remeber that Riis regreted the neutralization of the stage after
Casatelli's death, because it was the stage where he planned to attack
not only Zuelle but alson Indurain.

I think your eyes are too fixed (in hatred) on Armstrong to notice a CSC rider
who happens to be 2nd on GC.
