My dad, who is 65, recently had a bi-lateral knee replacement. He has decided to give up his road bike and he bought a hybrid. SO now he's got a Cannondal ehe wants to ump off and we were trying to figure out what he can get for it. SO far as I can tell, it's probaly 5 to 7 years old. It's an R800, CAD3 w/SHimano 105 drivetrain and brakes, ultegra hubs and Mavic Pro rims. It's got the red fade to yellow paint job with a acarbon fiber fork. Any Suggestions?

Used bike prices vary considerably. It boils down to the right person at the right time to get any money out of it. That said check ebay. Its a good metric for what the market will bear.

…also, you should check your local craigslist.org.
…another thing about ebay, figure on having someone box the bike up for you and to get a better idea of what the real prices are for things using ebay, sign in as a member and do a search and choose to view "Completed Items" from Search Options. This will show you the price at whcih auctions ended. Without this option, the prices don't reflect well since auction bots out there put bids in at the last second.
