  1. Hi Folks,

I have completed about a month of my base period here in Sweden on my indoor magnetic trainer and I am not really sure how to plan my training for the future. I have another 1.5 month to go on my base training, but I have heard that you should try to build some strength and muscular endurance during this period too. How should I do this? Intervalls? What kind? I don´t want to push to heavy gears this early on because I tend to get sore knees.

I am 20 years old, have been riding the last two years (not much though, about 3k each summer, we don´t have a long season here in Sweden) but I have played tennis on a competitive level the last 8 years so my regular fitness is fine. I weight 64-65 kg/145 lbs and am 180/5,11 tall.

How should I train the following 1,5 months so that I will be in good shape for the outdoor season and then start my build phase?

    cheers
